Program Coordinator, Medical Detox - Savannah, TN
Are you an experienced and compassionate Addiction Therapist with a passion for guiding individuals through their recovery journey?
Signet Health is pleased to be partnering with Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, TN. We are seeking a seasoned professional – nurse or social worker - to oversee an inpatient medical detox program. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting patients as they work towards lasting recovery and an improved quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Develop an organizational plan and ensure that services align with the mission, while continually monitoring their effectiveness.
- Planning and administration of all operational functions, including managerial, personnel, fiscal, and reporting requirements.
- Address all levels of treatment programming, utilization, documentation, and client care.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and enforcement of all policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement a continuous improvement culture with systems that sustain an environment of best practices, quality, and cost improvement.
- Ensure continual compliance, ethical standards, quality care, and performance excellence with effective patient outcomes.
- Establish and implement a comprehensive, integrated quality assurance program that aligns with the programmatic quality assurance plans and programs.
- Develop positive relationships with key healthcare providers, referral sources, and community leaders.
- Create and encourage a culture of open communication, feedback, and discussion with staff.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Work with Signet Health’s Senior VP of Operations, VP of Referral Development, and hospital marketing to establish a referral development plan to establish and strengthen relationships within the market area. This would include face-to-face meetings with referral sources as well as implementing referral development events.
Requirements/Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical and supervisory experience working with clients in a hospital or clinical setting with substance use disorders (SUD) required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s (BSN/MSN) degree in nursing or related master’s degree in addictions/counseling/social work required. Clinical license and/or certifications in Addiction Medicine are highly preferred.
